Explore the skies with Eastbourne Astronomical Society this Winter.
Using the society’s telescopes to explore the craters on the moon It is also hoped constellations of the night sky will be observable too. There will be a telescope set up on planet Saturn where visitors will be able to see the rings and clouds bands. Other telescopes will be taking images of The Andromeda Galaxy and The "Seven Sisters" a blue open cluster of stars.
Stargazing will not go ahead if it rains but we’re hoping for clear skies!
Please note The Beachy Head Marathon takes place on 25 October and King Edwards Parade, Hollywood Road, Upper Dukes Drive, Dukes Drive (outside Helen Garden) will be closed. Runners will still be coming through the finish line until 6pm so please allow extra time to park your car.
