Explore the skies with Eastbourne Astronomical Society this Winter.
Using the society’s telescopes to explore the craters on the moon It is also hoped constellations of the night sky will be observable too. There will be a telescope set up on planet Saturn where visitors will be able to see the rings and clouds bands. Other telescopes will be taking images of The Andromeda Galaxy and The "Seven Sisters" a blue open cluster of stars.
Viewable at the February events will be craters and mountains on the moon, the cloud bands on Jupiter plus four of it's moons, The Seven Sisters blue star cluster, The Andromeda Galaxy plus various other star constellations.
Stargazing will not go ahead if it rains but we’re hoping for clear skies!
Cadence coffee will be staying open later to sell hot drinks on these chilly evenings.
